Lynne Chaimowitz

Lynne Chaimowitz is currently the Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Finance and Administration for Pasadena Water & Power, a community owned utility serving the Pasadena California area with total operating and capital budgets of $450 million annually. As the AGM of finance and administration, she oversees budgeting and financial planning, rates, risk management, and utility accounting and settlements related to energy and fuel activities.

Before Pasadena, Lynne was with the Mojave Water Agency where she served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  Prior to becoming CFO, Lynne served as the Budget and Finance Supervisor for the City of Ann Arbor, Public Services where she managed a comprehensive rate study and provided leadership in financial modeling, financing reporting and capital planning.  Additionally, she is a Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) and has dedicated her professional career to organizational financial excellence with vast experience in community owned water utilities.  She earned an Environmental Program undergraduate degree, with a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, from the University of Michigan, and a graduate degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Lynne is also a seasoned non-profit Board member, passionate about heralding the value of safe, reliable and resilient systems to daily life.  Most recently Lynne served as Treasurer for the Great Lakes Observing System, a regional node of the International Ocean Observation System network, closely affiliated with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association.  As well as currently serving as a Parent of Child in District on the Citizen Oversight Committee for the Etiwanda School District’s Measure I Bond Measure.

She resides in Fontana, California with her son, Ray, spouse Pat, and their dog London.
